Dr Davina Ledermann
Hello, I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, as well as a qualified Health Psychologist, accredited with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health Care Professional Council (HCPC). I have worked with adults, in the NHS for over a decade including supporting clients to self-manage their long-term health conditions, and mental health.
I work with clients with symptoms of depression, low self-esteem and the full spectrum of anxiety disorders. These include- general anxiety disorder, health anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, panic and PTSD. In addition to working in the NHS, I have previously worked as a lecturer, teaching psychology at universities to undergraduates and postgraduates. I thoroughly enjoyed supporting students to thrive during their studies.
I have a special interest in working with clients living with long-term health conditions, OCD, and perinatal clients. As a mum to two young boys, I understand the mental health challenges that happen during pregnancy and motherhood. I have a passion for empowering other mums to advocate for their own health and wellbeing.
I work collaboratively with my clients and have been told - I am very approachable and supportive, and caring. My aim is to empower and support you, to gain the tools you need, to feel more confident in your own abilities and future. If you think we could be a good match, I would love to hear from you.
