Sarah Battye
My name is Sarah, and I am a fully qualified and BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist.
I have been working in child and adult mental health for over 10 years. I work in an IAPT Service as a CBT Therapist and have previous experience working with children under CAMHS, adults, and their families as a Multi Systemic Therapist.
I graduated from Keele University in 2009 in Criminology and Psychology. In 2018, I completed my Postgraduate Diploma at the University of Manchester. Both of these courses are accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapist (BABCP).
I am straightforward, open, honest and approachable. I have extensive experience of working with a variety of Depression and Anxiety difficulties and have special interest and knowledge with Low Mood, OCD, Generalised Anxiety, Social Anxiety, and Specific
Phobias.
I am happy to discuss your difficulties and work out together if I can be of any help to you.
I am accredited with the BABCP and use evidence-based interventions to maximise recovery and relapse and do so by personalising CBT to the needs of the individual.
My aim is to help people recover and lead a fulfilling life. Enabling you to gain - not only an understanding of your difficulties - but to develop a range of skills to help you overcome these and feel equipped, looking to the future, to overcome any barriers that may come your way – ultimately giving you the tools to become your own therapist.
I am happy to discuss your difficulties and work out together if I can be of any help to you. I can work with you on an extensive range of issues from everyday anxiety, stress or low mood to more persistent mental health issues such as:
- Depression
- OCD
- PTSD
